The photo exhibition “Connecting Cultures”, hosted at Makerere University, celebrated 46 years of collaboration between the University of Turin and Makerere University through the Italian Ethnological Mission in Equatorial Africa. Showcasing research on identity, migration, and cultural heritage in the Great Lakes Region, the exhibition also highlighted the ongoing “Mobility, Migrations and Refugees in East Africa” project and broader initiatives promoting African cultural heritage through international museum partnerships.
