A concluding workshop marked the completion of the Italian-Ugandan research project “Mobility, Migrations and Refugees in East Africa: The Case of Uganda” (2020–2025). Bringing together scholars from the University of Turin, Makerere University, and other partner institutions, the event presented research on refugee lives, displacement, and mobility in Uganda, with particular attention to gender, health, traditional healing, energy access, and experiences of sexual violence.
