TOAfrica organized a public outreach event on health and contemporary challenges to food, environmental, and human security in Africa. The discussion brought together Colette Mefire Njiasse (President of Associazione Mosaico), Edoardo Occa (Head of Community Health Programs at Medici con l’Africa CUAMM), Suad Omar (human rights activist), Taiba Abdul Latif (Ghanaian youth leader), and Kebaso Sheillah (diplomat and researcher), with moderation by journalist Karim Metref. The speakers reflected on the links between health, environmental change, socio-economic inequalities, and trade, offering different perspectives on some of the key challenges facing the continent today.
