The workshop "Plural Masculinities: Dialogues from Africa and Beyond" will take place on the 18th of June 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Maurice centre in Turin. This event aims to explore masculinities across diverse cultural and geographical contexts through interdisciplinary perspectives. The workshop will feature presentations by three  scholars: Joe Strong (Queen Mary University), who works in Ghana; Marta Fanasca (University of Bologna), who focuses on Japan; and Laura Ferrero (University of Torino), whose research centers on the Middle East and, more specifically, on Palestine. Each presenter will introduce key themes from their research and subsequently lead small-group discussions using a world café format. This informal and interactive setting is designed to foster collective reflection and dialogue among researchers, students, and attendees interested in gender studies.
