On Saturday, October 4, from 6:30 pm, at Jigeenyi (Via Borgo Dora 3/O, Turin), the group Tartit will perform. Born in a refugee camp in Mauritania, the ensemble is renowned for the intensity of its traditional kel tamasheq music.
At the heart of the evening will be Fadimata Walet Oumar – activist, writer, and musician – who will intertwine music, storytelling, and reflections on the Malian crisis, offering a direct perspective on the contemporary political situation.
The event will not only be a concert, but also a cultural encounter combining debate, testimonies, live music, and convivial moments.
